We are seeking a Wireman Technician for an established company in the Orange Park, FL area within the industrial control side of project engineering services: Assembly of Electrical Control Panels, Junction Boxes, and wire harnesses from prints. This position is responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, and testing of control panels for industrial equipment.

Job Duties of the Wireman Technician:

• Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures.

• Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.

• Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation.

• Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions.

• Communicate red line changes to Engineer or Team Leader for revision prior to completion.

• Communicate effectively with all team members, builders, engineers, and the Project Manager.

• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed

Skills and Qualifications of the Wireman Technician:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

• Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology required.

• Technical school attendance a plus.

• Must be able to understand and work from schematics.

• Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Must adhere to a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
