We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an established company in the Leesburg, FL area who will ensure the efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce processes, order fulfillment, and warehouse management systems. Work involves moderate to heavy exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate to heavy physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Job Duties of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:

• Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices

• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items, labeling, and arranging for transportation

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments

• Operate warehouse equipment including hand carts and forklifts

• Assist with order picking and order fulfillment as needed

• Ensure compliance with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) procedures

Skills and Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred

• Familiarity with shipping processes

• Knowledge of stock control principles and procedures

• Must be able to speak and write English

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
