Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities would include operating a professional grade sewing machine, accurately reading a measuring tape and marking dimensions on paper or fabric, and working with different fabrics, colors, and designs. Pulling upholstered fabric to fit over foamed items (seats, couches, chairs etc). may glue foam to blanks (wooden chairs or benches).
Job Duties:
• Operating a professional grade manual sewing machine
• Reading measurements with a tape measure
• Marking and recording dimensions and measurements
• Working with different fabrics, colors, and designs
• Accurately reading production instructions and documents.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• High attention to detail
• Ability to read a measuring tape
• Ability to follow directions and meet daily expectations
• Ability to work with different fabrics, colors, and designs
• Resume required
• Interview at company required
