Job Responsibilities:

Verify, put away, pick, deliver, and transact all materials within the facility.

Job Duties:

• Process raw material requests, sub-contract material requests, or follow oral instructions to identify materials required.

• Handle resolution of problems which arise concerning material inventory accuracy by interacting with shipping, receiving, operations, inventory control and/or material planning.

• Put away incoming materials to designated storage locations in an organized and safe manner.

• Maintain perpetual tags or labels for materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.

• Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading, moving, or conveying materials and products and acquire/maintain hi-lo certification.

• Perform cycle counting, physical inventory, and other stockroom initiatives.

• Empty cardboard and trash dumpster regularly and maintain housekeeping in the stockroom.

• Responsibility to maintain integrity of inventory and perform inventory transactions to ensure proper documentation is completed and transacted in a timely manner.

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience with operating a forklift or be willing to successfully complete training to receive forklift operation certification.

• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
