Special Event Caterers
Job Description
This is a special event catering position at Kansas Motor Speedway.
Duties include:
Greeting guests with a positive attitude and a smile
Keep food stocked in certain areas
Serve food to guests
Constantly cleaning the area to keep it clear of trash and dirty dishes
Requirements:
Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Catering experience is a plus but not required
The hiring process is approximately 4 hours. There are 3 elements that can be completed within a half hour. A 3 hour ServSafe Alcohol course is required to work the event. If you don't have the certification, we will pay for the course and pay you 3 hours at $12 per hour for completing it.
Main event day is 05/11, start time is not set yet. We may need workers May 9 and 10 as well.
Since this is a race, the end time is not guaranteed. You will need to be able to work the entire shift that can go to between 10pm and 2am, could end earlier or later depending on weather and track conditions.
Pay is $17.00 per hour.
This is a temporary position. A national background check is required.
