Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments.
Job Duties:
• Scheduling shipments as needed
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Assembles and prepares orders for shipment.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet requirements.
• Maintains inventory of materials and supplies.
• Possible use of a forklift to move materials as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience with S&R
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Efficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours throughout a shift
