Job Responsibilities:

Ensures the safety, quality, and consistency of product shipped. Plan and direct daily work schedule to ensure timely delivery of products by performing the following duties.

Job Duties:

• Routes all customer shipments according to customer instructions.

• Determine method of shipment by utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, rates and routes.

• Prepare items for shipment including, assembles, packs, protects, labels, and weighs shipments

• Post shipping charges and weights, and affix postage.

• Examine outgoing shipments and make sure they conform with specifications.

• Verifies completeness of shipment against shipping order.

• Completes all required shipping documents, bill of lading, and company shipping records.

• Keep and verify records on outgoing shipments

• Solves problems associated with carrier, routing, and shipping schedules.

• Traces shipment when necessary.

• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.

• Maintain inventory of shipping materials as well as supplies.

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 3 months of experience in S&R

•Experience with operating a forklift

•The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
