We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an established company in the Norton Shores, MI area who will collect items from the warehouse based on shipping orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality. 

Job Duties of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:

• Attach appropriate shipping labels and prepare necessary shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.

• Use a forklift to load packed items onto trucks or trailers for delivery. Ensure loads are secure and properly balanced to prevent damage during transport.

• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.

• Update inventory management systems to reflect items that have been shipped out.

• Check incoming shipments against purchase orders or delivery notes to ensure accuracy in terms of quantity, quality, and product specifications.

• Log received items into inventory management systems and update records to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Skills and Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:

• One year of shipping and receiving experience.

• Experience with either stand up or sit down forklifts.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• High School Diploma/GED.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day.
