Shipping & Receiving Clerk (1st Shift)

Job Description
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an established company in the Muskegon, MI area who will be preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments, along with packaging the products before shipment.
Job Duties of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
Labeling / boxing / banding products to skids.
Some manual deburring and rethreading of parts.
Prepping and cleaning parts.
Maintaining a good, clean work environment.
Organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in.
Reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.
Skills and Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
Experience working in shipping and packaging.
Must have high attention to detail.
Must be able to lift materials up to 30lbs.
Must have a basic understanding of the decimal system.
