Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce processes, order fulfillment, and warehouse management systems. Work involves moderate to heavy exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate to heavy physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items, labeling, and arranging for transportation
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Operate warehouse equipment including hand carts and forklifts
- Assist with order picking and order fulfillment as needed
- Ensure compliance with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred
- Familiarity with shipping processes
- Knowledge of stock control principles and procedures
- Ability to speak and write English
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Minimum 1 year forklift experience

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
