Job Description
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an established company in the Muskegon, MI area who will be preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Along with packaging the products before shipment.
Job Duties of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
- Labeling/Boxing/Banding to skids
- Some Manual deburring and rethreading parts
- Prep and clean parts
- Maintain good clean work environment
- Organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in
- Reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.
Skills and Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:
- Experience working in shipping and packaging
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift materials up to 30lbs.
- Basic understanding of decimal system
