We are seeking Sheet Metal Assemblers for an established company in the Norton Shores, MI area who will assemble components and sub-assembly parts into dispenser or component assemblies using fasteners and hand or power tools, partially or completely, and working at a bench or on the shop floor. 

Job Duties of the Sheet Metal Assembler:

• Read and follow job packets containing operation descriptions and item listings with quantities.

• Position parts according to the knowledge of the unit being assembled or following blueprints.

• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.

• Handle parts with due care so as not to damage them during assembly.

• Fill out reject tags and makes sure that rejected material is handled properly.

Skills and Qualifications of the Sheet Metal Assembler:

• Education Experience: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• National background check required.
