We are seeking a Sewing Machine Operator for an established company in the Shelby, MI area who will operate a professional grade sewing machine, accurately read a measuring tape and mark dimensions on paper or fabric, and work with different fabrics, colors, and designs.

Job Duties of the Sewing Machine Operator:

• Operating a professional grade manual sewing machine

• Reading measurements with a tape measure

• Marking and recording dimensions and measurements

• Working with different fabrics, colors, and designs

• Accurately reading production instructions and documents.

Skills and Qualifications of the Sewing Machine Operator:

• Experience is preferred but not required

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

• High attention to detail

• Ability to read a measuring tape

• Ability to follow directions and meet daily expectations

• Ability to work with different fabrics, colors, and designs

• Resume required
