Sewing Machine Operator (1st Shift)

Job Description
We are seeking a Sewing Machine Operator for an established company in the Shelby, MI area who will operate a professional grade sewing machine, accurately read a measuring tape and mark dimensions on paper or fabric, and work with different fabrics, colors, and designs.
Job Duties of the Sewing Machine Operator:

Operating a professional grade manual sewing machine

Reading measurements with a tape measure

Marking and recording dimensions and measurements

Working with different fabrics, colors, and designs

Accurately reading production instructions and documents.
Skills and Qualifications of the Sewing Machine Operator:

Experience is preferred but not required

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required

High attention to detail

Ability to read a measuring tape

Ability to follow directions and meet daily expectations

Ability to work with different fabrics, colors, and designs
