We are seeking a Service Technician for an established company in the Jacksonville, FL area who will go into clients’ homes to repair existing products. 

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm

• Training is expected to take 2-3 months, pay will be $20 / hour

• Pay will increase by $2-3 / hour once training is complete.

• The company will provide a company cell phone, company vehicle, and tools needed to perform essential job duties after 2-3 month training

Job Duties of the Service Technician:

• Answer customers questions efficiently

• Complete paperwork in a timely efficient manner

• Collect service fees from clients when due

• Work closely with our service/scheduling dept.

Skills and Qualifications of the Service Technician:

• People Skills-outgoing personality.

• Professional look-representing All About Blinds entering homes to complete service tickets.

• Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

• Mechanical skills and ability to use tools.

• Must be able to possibly upsell from a service to a new order when applicable.

• Basic home construction knowledge recommended.

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.

• Must be capable of using a 25’ extension ladder.

• Lifting requirements- must be able to lift and carry/manage up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to pass a background check and have clean MVR

Experience / Education Requirements of the Service Technician:

• High School diploma

• Retail or Customer Service experience.
