Job Responsibilities:

Saw Operator/Cutter - operating a band saw to remove extra metal from casted products. Taking parts from the shakeout line to bring them to the band saw.

Job Duties:

• Set up band saw machines, adjusting speed, blade tension, and guides to ensure clean, accurate cuts.

•Measure and mark materials prior to cutting using measuring tapes, squares, and layout tools.

• Inspect materials before and after cutting to verify quality and accuracy of dimensions.

•Change saw blades and perform basic maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly and safely.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in a foundry preferred but not required

• Steel Toe Boots
