Safety and Compliance Coordinator
Job Description
We are looking for detail oriented Logistics Safety and Compliance Coordinator who will ensure that processes run smoothly, efficiency is enhanced and all required regulations are adhered to.
Hours are Mon-Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
Pay is $18-$22 an hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring DOT/FMCSA-1 Compliance

Provide direction for aspects of FMCSA-1 and safety, including regulatory compliance and workers compensation.

Perform safety surveys and inspections to assure safe conditions for workers. Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective measures.

Ensures Driver DQ Files are compliant

Oversee fleet management - ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety policies (OSHA, SOX, EHS, HR, DOT, Hazmat, etc).
Required Experience/Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Post high school education preferred.

At least 6 months related experience in Transportation industry and/or Supply Chain working with DOT regulations and safety programs.

Must understand and be knowledgeable of all DOT rules, regulations, and requirements including Hazmat placarding and compliance.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, smartphones, and other hardware/software
