Safety Coordinator/Quality Control Associate
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator / Quality Control Associate for an established company on the Northside of Jacksonville. This is an important role in the health and well-being of employees and the caliber of products produced.
Job Duties of the Safety Coordinator/Quality Control Associate:
Handle all aspects of safety and OSHA requirements for a manufacturing facility with approximately 150 employees.
Take part in orientation for all new employees.
Lead safety training for all plant employees.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
Verify that quality standards of products manufactured are met in final products and while in-process.
Skills and Qualifications of the Safety Coordinator/Quality Control Associate:
High School Diploma
Speak, read, and write in English
Must have first aid certification and OSHA knowledge
Must be experienced in handling all aspects of Safety in a manufacturing environment
Experience with quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
Skilled with computer use
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable speaking in front of groups
