Job Responsibilities: Operating roasting machines to customer needs. Upholds and provides safe, high-quality, consistent products, and superior services that anticipate, meet or exceed the requirements of our customers. Job Duties: Maintains proper color and blends of coffees as established by the product specification. Maintains accurate roasting sheets, control charting and other records. Maintains an accurate inventory through use of a computerized inventory system. Incorporates rework at established quality specifications as required. Performs sample testing with roasted coffee to ensure color and moisture are all within customer specifications. Services equipment in roasting area and keeps lead maintenance informed of all needs. Responsible for general housekeeping around the roasting area. Complies with General Safety Communication Program. Performs any other duties/tasks that may be assigned to him/her on an as needed basis. Skills and Requirements: - Able to lift 35-50 lbs comfortably - Able to stand for 8+ hours a day - 1 year of machine operator experience in a production setting - Ability to work in high heat environment - Ability to read and write in English Benefits once hired in!
