 Quality Engineer (Bilingual Chinese and English)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing factory. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections and tests, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.

Responsibilities for Quality Engineer

• Quality control implementation: Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements throughout the solar panel manufacturing process.

• Inspections and testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished solar panels to identify defects, non-conformities, and performance issues. Utilize various quality measurement tools and techniques to verify product specifications and functionality.

• Data analysis and reporting: Collect and analyze quality data, including inspection results, test records, and production metrics. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, trends, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Process optimization: Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to optimize production processes and enhance product quality. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction. Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows and minimize defects.

• Supplier quality management: Collaborate with the procurement team to establish quality requirements for suppliers and conduct supplier audits. Monitor supplier performance and address any quality concerns or non-compliance issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance the overall supply chain quality.

• Quality documentation and compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including quality control plans, inspection procedures, and test protocols. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and certifications relevant to solar panel manufacturing.

• Training and education: Provide training and guidance to production operators and other stakeholders on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Foster a quality-conscious culture and promote awareness of quality principles throughout the organization.

Qualifications for Quality Engineer

• Degree in engineering required

• Extensive experience in a quality assurance environment required

• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English

• High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• In-depth understanding of industry market trends and conditions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to work efficiently in a team environment

• Basic mathematical arithmetic skills
