Overview

We are looking for a motivated Ready-mix Concrete Quality Control and Field Representative to ensure our concrete meets top quality standards while delivering excellent customer service. This role combines technical expertise in concrete testing with strong communication skills to address customer needs and maintain positive relationships. Key Responsibilities

Quality Control

Perform on-site tests, such as slump checks, to ensure concrete complies with ASTM and ACI standards.

Record and report test results accurately for quality assurance purposes.

Work with batch plant operators and dispatch to meet customer specifications and maintain concrete quality.

Customer Interaction

Respond to customer questions and concerns, offering solutions to keep them satisfied.

Assist with truck preparation and ensure timely deliveries to job sites.

Collaborate with customers’ teams on-site to support smooth operations and provide technical assistance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license to travel to job sites.

ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I certification required (higher ACI certifications are a plus).

Knowledge of ASTM and ACI testing standards, as well as concrete mix designs.

Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally.

Comfortable documenting test results (e.g., using paper logs or digital tools).

Work Environment

Frequent travel to job sites is required, often in outdoor construction settings.

Be prepared to work in various weather conditions and assist with physical tasks like testing and truck coordination.
