Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Gainesville.
Position pays $17.25/hr and is dayshift Monday to Friday
This position is responsible for inspecting productsthroughout the production process to ensure they meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong inspection skills, and the ability to identify defects before products are shipped to customers.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for quality, appearance, and functionality.

Perform in-process inspections throughout manufacturing to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Identify defects, inconsistencies, and non-conforming products, and communicate findings to production supervisors.

Use measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment to verify product dimensions and performance.

Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality control records.

Ensure products meet customer requirements and company quality expectations before packaging and shipment.

Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions to reduce defects and improve manufacturing processes.

Verify proper labeling, packaging, and product presentation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.

Work closely with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to resolve quality issues.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required.

Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred.

Experience inspecting manufactured products is highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to read work instructions, specifications, and inspection documentation.

Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, rulers, and gauges.

Ability to identify defects in workmanship, finish, assembly, and overall product quality.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
