Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring and measuring products on the manufacturing floor and escalating nonconforming product issues. Performs periodic quality checks necessary, records information, and performs general utility work to meet work schedule. Observes and asks workers questions pertaining to job functions to ensure compliance with the IATF-16949 Quality System.
Job Duties:
• Responsible for randomly review each step of the inspection process with operators to assure that correct procedures are understood and followed.
• Support the quality process when internal and external quality failures result in product being contained.
• Reads processing information such as: work orders, inspection instruction sheets and data collection sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
• Observe other employees using equipment to verify equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards.
• Responsible for performing a complete inspection cycle on production parts.
• Maintain Quality Work Instruction, Forms & Procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Six month’s experience in quality. IATF-16949 Quality System preferred
• One year of manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• Able to stand for 8+ hours a day
