QA/QC Tech

Job Description
We are seeking a QA/QC Tech for an established company in Alachua County who will support all Quality Assurance related activities, as well as support the spirit of continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence.
 Pay $24.50/hr
Job Duties of the QA/QC Tech:

Ion and Gas Chromatography knowledge and testing/troubleshooting experience.

Perform tests to analyze water samples, including pH, conductivity, turbidity, alkalinity, hardness, and temperature.

Support sanitation activities as well as verify quality checks for line operators once per shift as part of our Release Program.

Manage items requiring quality hold.

Support QMS, HACCP, GMP, ICP, Micro, Sensory and Release programs.

Must be able to manage documentation and organize information for auditing.

Skills and Requirements of the QA/QC Tech:

MUST HAVE: Ion and Gas Chromatography knowledge and testing/troubleshooting experience.

Bachelor’s in science field OR a minimum of 3 years related working experience.

Computer experience required. (Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint experience). A test may be given prior to interview to test skills.Â

Strong instructional and leadership capabilities.

Must be able to handle complex and technical laboratory procedures that require accuracy and attention to detail.

Must be an excellent communicator
