Structural Steel / Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30–$37.50 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects, primarily supporting water and wastewater infrastructure. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope by coordinating technical, operational, and administrative activities from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from pre-planning through completion.

• Review and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and contract documents.

• Coordinate closely with internal teams including Drafting, Fabrication, and Accounting.

• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and other external stakeholders.

• Prepare, submit, and track project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.

• Monitor project schedules, track progress, and proactively resolve issues to maintain timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience or related industry experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with working knowledge of AISC, AWS, and NISD standards.

• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and construction documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
