Job Responsibilities:
The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the on-time production of quality products while handling the daily supervision of the plant personnel.
Job Duties:
• Develop a prioritized work plan for the team each day.
• Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures.
• Ensure the team is trained and utilized to maximize their potential.
• Utilize Lean tools to reduce nonvalue added work. (Balanced work, SQDIP, 8 waste reduction, 5 why’s, problem solving, PDCA)
• Assist in documenting work instructions and standard processes.
• Complete improvement ideas and action items.
• Perform additional duties not specifically outlined in this position description but as directed by the supervisor for the benefit of the company.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience as Production Supervisor, Sheet Metal preferred but not required
• Highly skilled at reading blueprints, and experience using measuring instruments.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Able to stand for 8+ hours a day
• Able to frequently lift of move up to 50lbs
