We are seeking Production Associates for an established company in the Fairburn, GA area who will efficiently process fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging fresh vegetables and other food products, for next day delivery while following all safety rules.

Job Duties of the Production Associate:

• Ensure processing room is clean and sanitized at the beginning of the shift
• Process fresh cut items and produce based on orders keyed into the system
• Make labels for product to be shipped
• Package items and prepare them for shipment
• Ensure quality of product is acceptable and meets standards
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Follow any other requests or instructions given by the Manager or Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications of the Production Associate:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic arithmetic skills
• The physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, squat, push, pull, stand in one place for a long period of time, and work in confined spaced
• The ability to work with sharp instruments used for cutting
• Knowledge of produce and previous experience in a processing facility preferred
