Job Description

We are seeking Process Tech employees for dayshift or nightshift on the Westside of Jacksonville

 

The Process Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and overseeing the production equipment and performing extensive and complex repairs on equipment issues. In addition, the technician should perform job duties including, but not limited to, evaluating, inspecting, maintaining, designing, analyzing, and improving various types of manufacturing equipment and machinery in the facility.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

? Interface with EHS, Production, Equipment Engineering, Quality, and Facilities to improve workplace safety.

? Assist in the execution of process improvement projects to improve KPIs, including, but not limited to, productivity, yield, and cost.

? Perform real-time root cause analysis on issues observed on the production line – implement containment and permanent corrective actions.

? Assist in developing or improving written production procedures (work instructions, out-of-control action plans, equipment down action plans, temporary change notifications, etc.) – and then assist in implementing these new procedures via factory personnel training.

? Assist in the testing and launching of new products or using new materials.

? Assist in preparing improvement projects, summaries of ongoing/completed improvement projects, summaries of root cause analysis, and containment/permanent corrective action.

? Execute DOEs to test new materials and improve KPIs, including, but not limited to, productivity, yield, and cost.

? Perform data collection, querying, analysis and summary.

? Good team player with a positive and proactive attitude; self-starter who performs well under minimum supervision.

? Direct production support for a day or night shifts.

? Other assigned tasks as requested.

? Must be able to lift components of 35 lbs.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? High proficiency in Excel.

? Excellent problem-solving skills, logical thinking.
