Pattern Maker (1st Shift)

Job Description
We are seeking a Pattern Maker for an established company in the Muskegon, MI area who will properly lay a variety of letters and numbers into sand molds according to work instructions, and verify that spacing & placement is accurate according to the work order.
Job Duties of the Pattern Maker:
Pattern letter setup, comparing to work order/drawings, knowledge of style/spacing, proper organization.
Building both Matchplate and Tub style patterns, cutting components and runners for assembly.
Keeping main molding machine stocked with patterns to prevent “slow-down”.
Sorting and storage of polymers and other standard patterns that need to be filed.
Can determine material requirements needed to complete job.
Can pull files to figure correct size of letters, numbers and other special characters to use on pattern setup.
Properly label each pattern to identify alloy to be poured.
Skills and Qualifications of the Pattern Maker:
1 year of experience with Pattern Making.
Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day
