Location: Homosassa, FL
Pay: $18/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (Benefits offered upon hire)
Schedule: Varies — initially overnight, Monday–Friday

 

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and trustworthy Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and secure facility in Homosassa, FL. This role includes general janitorial duties as well as securing the building by locking and unlocking facilities as needed. The position will start on overnight shifts and offers strong growth potential.

Employees who perform well may advance into a lead role, assisting with hiring and overseeing additional staff as operations expand to a 24/7 schedule.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility

  • Lock and unlock buildings as required

  • Ensure a safe and secure environment

  • Follow cleaning and safety protocols consistently

 

 

Schedule & Advancement

  • Starts as overnight shifts, Monday–Friday

  • Schedule may vary based on operational needs

  • Opportunity for advancement into a lead position with supervisory responsibilities

 

 

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Basic security awareness

  • Willingness to work flexible hours

  • Clean background and high level of trustworthiness

  • Drug-free workplace — must pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Must be willing to submit to a national background check
