Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication to oversee daily shop operations and ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Duties :

• Supervise and lead shop and field operations, scheduling jobs based on priority.

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, layouts, assembly, and welding operations.

• Coordinate job completions with sales staff and customers.

• Oversee shipping and receiving processes.

• Manage inventory control and maintain accurate records.

• Ensure quality control standards are met.

• Process purchase orders and maintain organized documentation between shop and office.

• Approve employee time using an online timekeeping system.

• Communicate professionally via email and maintain effective internal and external correspondence.

• Promote and enforce safe work practices and proper use of safety equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

•Strong management and leadership skills with a team-oriented attitude.

•Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

•Experience supervising shop operations and field work.

•Background in sheet metal fabrication.

•Knowledge of shipping/receiving and inventory management.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office.

•Highly organized with strong prioritization skills.

•Valid, current, and unrestricted driver’s license.

•The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
