Job Responsibilities:

Keeps production floor clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties below.

Job Duties:

•Monitor and maintain cleanliness inside the plant.

•Operate a forklift in areas around the plant.

•Operate a sweeper machine.

•Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials in designated containers.

•Performs preventative maintenance activities on floor scrubber and maintains cleaning solution tank.

•May clean poles, walls, and machinery.

•Report any maintenance issues related to floors, carpets, or other surfaces.

•Able to add, multiply, divide to calculate cleaning solution/water ratios.

Skills and Qualifications:

•Forklift experience preferred

•Self-motivated and able to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.

•Ability to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

•Able to read and follow verbal and written directions.

•Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

•Comfortable with standing, bending, twisting, walking, lifting, and reaching throughout your shift.

•The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day

•The job works in conditions with constant exposure to noise, odors, dust, drafts and chemicals.

•May include seasonally hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time.
