Mechanical Finishing

 

Location: Deland, FL

 

Pay: $16-$17/ hour

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable mechanical finisher to assist with grinding, sanding and finishing parts. This role involves working with bench grinders, angle grinders and sanding tables to ensure parts meet quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Grind and finish parts using bench grinders and angle grinders

  • Operate sanding tables and other finishing equipment

  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines

  • Assist with general shop tasks as needed

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience with grinding, sanding, or mechanical finishing preferred

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely

  • Attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs

  • Dependable and punctual

 

Schedule:

Mon-Thur: 6am-4:30pm

Fridays: Half days
