We are seeking a Material Handler for an established company in the Muskegon, MI area who will regularly replenish production materials to the manufacturing work centers. 

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

Job Duties of the Material Handler:

• Operate a Forklift.

• Deliver parts/materials between the warehouse and production work centers, ensuring parts are consistently available for assembly or service.

• Receive incoming material, put away in stock locations, and enter material move transactions into production ERP system.

• Investigate part shortages and negative inventory balances, ensuring inventory accuracy within the ERP system. Proactively communicate issues to both Manufacturing and Materials group.

• Assist in implementation of approved ECN’s which includes providing timing updates to team, ensuring the use of old revision/part numbers prior to new design, balancing materials when used on multiple lines, and finalizing counts when parts become obsolete.

• Complete cycle counts and/or receipt audits as needed.

• Assist Shipping Associate with packaging machines and preparing daily shipments.

Skills and Qualifications of the Material Handler:

• 1-3 years’ experience Material Handling

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift and reach for 8+ hours

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
