Job Responsibilities:

The Packaging Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the blending and packaging of food-grade materials, while supporting daily operations in shipping, logistics, and inventory control. This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, and team performance while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Job Duties:

•Lead, train, and support packaging and production team members

•Assign daily tasks and ensure workflow efficiency across the team

•Assist with onboarding and cross-training of new employees

•Packagers are responsible for cleaning packaging materials, loading items into containers, and weighing and labeling the items appropriately.

•They also perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory.

•Perform basic machinery troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed

•Verify product labeling, lot tracking, and compliance documentation

•Coordinate with shipping/receiving to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

•Ensure all finished goods are properly staged for shipping or stored in inventory

Skills and qualifications:

Prior leadership or team lead experience is required.

•Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or food production preferred

•Basic mechanical or machinery maintenance knowledge

•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•The ability to lift 40-60lbs repetitively

•The ability to wear a respirator

•The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
