Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling precision components and systems using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience reading schematics and blueprints, and familiarity with manufacturing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to detailed schematics and blueprints

• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete assemblies accurately

• Measure parts with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure proper assembly procedures

• Operate machining and welding equipment when required for fabrication tasks

• Conduct quality checks on assembled parts using precision instruments

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency

• Assist with troubleshooting assembly issues and suggest improvements for manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• Proven experience with assembly in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

• Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with calipers, micrometers, schematics, blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools

• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately

• Knowledge of soldering, welding, forklift operation, and machining is a plus

• Familiarity with warehouse operations and the use of precision measuring instruments is desirable

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety standards

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
