Job Title: WaterWorks/Underground Utility Estimator

Job Summary: Del Zotto Products of Florida LLC, for the WaterWorks division, is a leading provider of high-quality precast concrete products and services, specializing in underground utility solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented WaterWorks/Underground Utility Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position that will involve working on exciting underground utility projects and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Project Analysis: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation to accurately assess project scope and requirements.

• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes, ensuring competitive pricing.

• Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed bids for underground utility projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

• Change Order Management: Manage and evaluate change orders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Cost Tracking: Monitor and track project costs to ensure that projects stay within budget.

• Communication: Work closely with the owners, and sale team to ensure project success.

• Safety: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Several years of experience as an estimator or in a similar role within the underground utility industry.

• Knowledge: A strong understanding of underground utility construction processes, including trenching, storm water/sanitary installation, and tie-ins.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately assess project costs and risks.

• Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations and analyzing data.

• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software.

• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Shift: M-F

Pay: $75-$80k
