Manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for developing accurate and efficient structural designs using CAD software, ensuring that all plans comply with both industry standards and the unique specifications of our precast concrete products.

Computer-Aided Design Drafter (CAD Drafter) Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop structural designs and drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD 2021, Titan 3000)

• Interpret design specifications and technical terms from Civil engineering plans

• Revise drawings and designs based on updated plan revisions and project requirements

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations

• Maintain project documentation within Titan 3000 Precast Management System

• Understand and implicate design capabilities and limitations specific to Del Zotto Products of Florida

• Troubleshoot design and drafting issues

Computer-Aided Design Drafter (CAD Drafter) Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD

• Experience in precast industry-specific drafting, such as storm water drainage, underground sewer and water utilities

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards

• Ability to create complex and detailed technical drawings

• Excellent communication and mathematical skills

• Ability to interpret construction documents and blueprints

• Attention to detail and accuracy, Strong visual awareness and spatial aptitude

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

• Good time management and organizational skills, punctual work ethic
