We are hiring for a Nightshift Manufacturing Line Lead on the Westside of Jacksonville.

Pay: $20.75/hr

Schedule 5:50pm to 6am on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule.

Achieves daily production goals for a work area for a 12-hour shift following a 2-3-2 rotating schedule. lead 8-10 employees daily including techs, and operators. Reports daily area output and performance. Implements corrective action for key bottlenecks related to human performance under the direction of the line lead.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prioritize the safety of all team members and ensure that manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations.

• Monitor line production performance to minimize cost, material waste, downtime, and human error.

• Complete hourly work area reports detailing output, yield, downtime, and pass down status.

• Report all personnel-related issues, attendance, performance management, disciplinary action, etc. to the line lead for resolution.

• Manage new hire training and performance coaching for all operators and techs within your work area.

• Provide break coverage for all stations within your work area as needed.

• Perform daily QA testing for all stations within your work area as needed.

• Ensure all tools and materials within your work area are readily available and in good condition.

• Ensure work area readiness for internal and external audits.

• Additional related duties may be assigned based on business requirements.

Key Requirement’s and Competencies:

• Previous experience in a leadership role.

• Previous experience in managing team performance.

• At least 1 year of experience in production.

• At least 1 year of experience working on an automated production line.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.

• Familiarity with MS office Suite. Strong Excel skills preferred!
