We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prima Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team in Green Cove Springs. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Prima laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal parts and components used in the manufacturing of custom industrial vacuum and hydro-excavation equipment.

Job Duties:

Set up and operate Prima laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal and fabricated components according to specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and cut files

Verify proper machine setup including material type, thickness, program selection, and tooling requirements

Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently

Monitor machine performance during operation to ensure quality and minimize downtime

Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, edge quality, and conformance to tolerances

Perform routine machine maintenance and daily housekeeping tasks to keep equipment in safe working condition

Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report mechanical or programming concerns to maintenance or supervision

Accurately identify, sort, and stage completed parts for downstream fabrication and assembly processes

Maintain production records and document scrap, rework, and machine performance as required

Work closely with production, fabrication, welding, and quality teams to ensure workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous experience operating Prima laser equipment or similar CNC laser cutting machinery required/preferred

Experience in a metal fabrication, heavy equipment, or manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools

Basic understanding of machine offsets, material handling, and production tolerances

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
