Job Responsibilities :

A Custom Fabricator specializes in creating one-of-a-kind parts, products, or structures based on client specifications, blueprints, or unique designs. This role requires creativity, precision, and advanced fabrication skills to bring custom concepts to life while meeting quality, safety, and deadline expectations.

Job Duties :

•Operate metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses, and CNC equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.

•Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, partition frames, dust collection piping, and material handling systems.

•Inspect product quality and 100% conformation to specifications.

•Inspect finished products to verify measurements, tolerances, and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

•Must have custom weld fabrication experience with sheet metal and structural welding.

•MIG welding various mild steel including 16 gauge, ¼”, 3/8”, ½”.

•TIG/Stick welding experience a plus.

•Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and work specifications.

•Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot.

•Strong math skills.

•Must have own tools and welding equipment.

•The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
