Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an established company in the Jacksonville, FL area.
Schedule: Day & Evening Shifts available for 4–10 hour workdays
Job Duties of the Manufacturing Engineer:
Act as a subject matter expert for a group of 5-10 machines/manual workstations on a high-speed assembly line.
Develop and update technical documentation for all machines and manual workstations within your group. This includes SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan), RCA/CA (Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions) and other common formats.
Respond to the daily MDI (Managing Daily Improvement) meetings and work to reduce the effect of machines or manual stations that are the current bottlenecks lowering daily output.
Participate in daily MRB (Material Review Board) process and provide root cause analysis and corrective action to reduce the top 3 daily quality issues.
Develop training materials detailing the operations of your group machines and manual workstations and pass down this documentation to the OJT’s (On the Job Trainer) team.
Conduct operator certification as needed after production team training is complete.
Coordinate with equipment team on machine stoppages requiring EM (Emergency Maintenance) and quickly resolve any issues to resume production.
Coordinate with the equipment team on scheduling PM’s (Preventative Maintenance) for your machine group, and evaluate the effectiveness of performed maintenance procedures.
Manage all resources within your group effectively to reach KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for machines within your group and drive CI (Continuous Improvement) in these areas.
Coordinate with project engineers during all phases of improvement projects for your group.
Coordinate with Quality Engineers on resolution of any ongoing quality issues and develop engineering changes to resolve these issues.
Coordinate with Technical Engineers on any material related tests/changes.
Coordinate communication with all foreign vendors and other outside resources provided by Jinko HQ in China relevant to your group. Note: Company provided A.I. translation software can be used by English only speakers to accomplish this task.
Skills and Qualifications of the Manufacturing Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a STEM related field.
Experience (3 years) in high-speed assembly line/manufacturing environment.
Experience troubleshooting complex machinery/robotics applications.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Project and Visio.
Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Bilingual Chinese/English is a plus.
