Job Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for optimizing the safe and continuous operation of all manufacturing equipment. Daily tasks include preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting and repair, fabrication and occasional facilities maintenance work.

Job Duties:

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools and reassemble equipment.

• Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.

• Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.

• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

• Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.

• Paint and repair windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, and other parts of buildings structures.

• Align and balance new equipment after installation.

• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years in Industrial Maintenance

• Electrical Experience

• Basic Metal/Wood Fabrication

• PVC and Metal Plumbing

• Trouble Shooting Knowledge
