We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for an established company in the Muskegon, MI area who will be ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment and facility systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position is also a hybrid half maintenance and half shipping and receiving.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Job Duties of the Maintenance Technician:

• Changing out light fixtures.

• Changing oil in trucks and machines.

• Plumbing

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

• Replace worn or damaged machine parts using hand tools and power tools.

• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.

• Install new equipment or machinery as needed.

• Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments using packing slips, invoices, or purchase orders.

• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually.

Skills and Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:

• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

• Preventative maintenance experience.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Must be able to lift, twist, and bend for 8+ hours a day.

• Must be able to walk and be on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
