Maintenance Technician (Mid-Level)

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $24 - $25 /hour DOE

Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview:

We are URGENTLY seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician with mid-level experience to support the maintenance and repair of equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing/industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment to help minimize downtime and maintain safe, efficient operations.

This position works closely with production and operations teams to ensure equipment is functioning properly and preventive maintenance is completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and light electrical issues on production equipment.

• Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems.

• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize production downtime.

• Assist with installation, setup, and adjustments of machinery as needed.

• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation of repairs and inspections.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

• Support general facility maintenance tasks as required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• 2-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

• Experience working with:

• Mechanical systems

• Light electrical troubleshooting

• Conveyor systems

• Experience with PLC systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in an industrial or warehouse environment.

• Must be able to wear required PPE.
