Laboratory Associate - Temporary

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Laboratory associate is responsible for operating metallurgical lab equipment and being someone who is dependable and self-driven.
Job Duties:
- Entering and maintaining inspection data on computer network
- Operating metallurgical lab equipment including: cut-off saw, surface grinder, polisher, Rockwell tester, optical microscope, and spectrometer
- Complete Daily micros
- Complete daily Rockwell's
- Defect analysis preparation
- Cut and send out tensiles each month
Skills and Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined
- Comfortable using saws and operating metallurgical lab equipment
- Good attendance
