Inventory Coordinator (1st Shift)

Job Description
We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator for a manufacturing facility on the Northside of Jacksonville.
Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday thru Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
Job Duties of the Inventory Coordinator:
Perform daily spot-checks of three [3] raw materials and one [1] finished good
Daily - Complete into inventory; audit material. Inventory Completions
Work with Supervisors on the weekly cycle counts; be the 3rd count on all discrepancies & issues
Maintain and update cycle count sheets with correct pricing & conversions
Create various spreadsheets for departments as needed [sub-forms, scrap, etc]
Research raw material & finished goods issues as they come up; look for receiver & completion errors before making adjustments; investigate for root causes
Help with looking for BOM issues and report discoveries to Corporate Inventory
Research and clear daily negative report, including all CTNSP phantom cartons
Daily - Adjust-out all scrap turned in from each department, Adjust-out all subs on raw materials or finished goods turned in from each department, Adjust-out all cartons that are not listed in the BOMs but are used in specials & other departments
Perform or assist QC &/or the Traffic Manager with processing RMAs; document the info;
Work with purchasing on RM inventories to ensure that low stock levels are reported; help avoid outages
Monitor the return-sheets for bad product and report to purchasing when a return is needed
As needed, help with weekly transfer trucks & Shipping Request Forms for requested bin items
Work with purchasing and Corp QC on returns and quality issues; key items into MRB; enter negative PO receivers for vendor credits
Work closely with Corp Inventory on all major issues, processes & procedures, and projects & assignments
Work with Kanban program and purchasing to ensure tags are turned into purchasing when items run below the established reorder points
Coordinate the annual Physical Inventory process; make internal adjustments where needed
Skills and Qualifications of the Inventory Coordinator:
Above-average written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership skills- motivate co-workers to perform accurate PI & weekly cycle counts
Ability to teach / coach others; getting co-workers to understand the basic Inventory fundamentals and the importance of accurate inventories is critical to the program's success!
Have strong computer skills, especially with MS Excel and possess the ability to further develop current skills as needed
Above-average math skills- addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division are used daily
Excellent time-management skills; be able to properly prioritize Inventory tasks & projects
Above-average follow-through on Inventory projects and assignments
Be a creative problem-solver; be decisive & objective when resolving Inventory issues
Be results- and detail-oriented when performing all Inventory tasks
Be proactive in identifying and resolving raw material & finished goods Inventory issues; anticipate and promptly take action, self-motivated
Able to multi-task and quickly shift focus as necessary
Able to lift 50 lbs alone- unless otherwise specified; co-workers & lifts are available for lifting, loading, & transporting heavier items
