Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Installer to join our team. This role involves the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. A commitment to quality workmanship, safety standards, and customer satisfaction is essential.

Pay: Starting at $14/hour, with performance-based raise potential of up to $5/hour within the first 30 days
Schedule: 7AM-7PM Monday-Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, ventilation, and thermostats

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications

• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork to fit specified dimensions and layouts

• Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications

• Test HVAC systems post-installation to verify proper operation and performance

• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job progress and timelines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each project

• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to local HVAC codes and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training or HVAC certification is a plus

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC system installation preferred

• Solid understanding of HVAC system components, tools, and installation techniques

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions

• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• EPA Certification (Type I and II or Universal) preferred but not required
