Hotel housekeeper
Job Description
The Hotel Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and sanitation in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
Their duties ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment for hotel guests, adhering to the hotel's cleanliness standards and policies.
Flexible hours/days 9:15am until done
Pay $13.00 an hour or more if you have exp.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock room amenities.
Vacuum carpets, sweep/mop floors, and dust furniture.
Dispose of trash and replace liners in wastebaskets.
Sanitize bathroom surfaces, mirrors, and fixtures.
Report damaged or missing items to the housekeeping supervisor.
Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or cleaning.
Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
Follow hotel health and safety regulations, including handling cleaning chemicals safely.
Assist with laundry services, if required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience in housekeeping (preferred but not required).
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as needed.
Work Environment:
Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional heavy lifting.
Fast-paced environment requiring efficiency and time management.
