Hotel Grounds Attendant

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Hotel Grounds Attendant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the hotel's outdoor areas, common spaces, and pool area clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain hotel common areas, walkways, and outdoor spaces.

• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly throughout the property.

• Keep the hotel grounds clean, free of debris, and guest-ready at all times.

• Clean and maintain the pool area, including surrounding furniture and walkways.

• Perform routine sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and general housekeeping duties as needed.

• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.

• Follow company safety policies and procedures while completing daily tasks.

• Provide friendly and professional service while interacting with guests and team members.

What You'll Bring

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, groundskeeping, or hotel experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as business needs require.

• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

Location & Work Pattern

• Work Location: On-site

• Schedule: Days and hours vary based on business needs and occupancy, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour for the first 30 days.

• Opportunity for an increase to $16.00 per hour after the initial 30-day period based on performance and attendance.
