Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer - Evening Shift

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator/general laborer at the port for a direct hire evening position with plenty of overtime.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 4pm to 12am , however there are many days that a 12 hour day is needed - 12 hour shifts are from 7pm to 7am.
- Payrate of $22/hr (excellent benefits plan after 90 days)
Tasks:
- Operate a loader and or a dozer
- Perform general labor
- Assisting senior employees on a variety of tasks.
Requirements:

Must have (or be eligible for) a TWIC card.

Experienced in operating a loader and dozer.

Able to lift 50+ pounds

Comfortable working outside.

Have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Stable job history and a strong work ethic.

3-5 years of heavy equipment operation experience preferred

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions

Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn

Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
